German-born Christiane, who speaks fluent Italian…
… and has a basic knowledge of French and Spanish, joined the team in 2006.
Christiane is responsible for Delaware North Australia Parks & Resorts (Lizard Island) together with Inspiration Outdoors accounts at TCMG.
Since September 2021, Christiane looks after JA Resorts & Hotels in Europe.
Christiane has an excellent knowledge of Australian travel product and was previously a regional sales and promotional manager for Tourism Queensland, looking after Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and other central European countries. She has also worked in reservations management for a German tour company.
Christiane, who is married with two children, has degrees in tourism and economics. She also has run a lecture series on destination marketing together with Rhett at several universities and academies in Germany.
When not promoting tourism her interests include mountaineering, inline skating, skiing and cycling.
