More accolades for Western Australia

Flying over the Bungle Bungles, meeting the dolphins at Monkey Mia, cruising the Kimberley in the wet season, swimming with the whale sharks on Ningaloo Reef and snorkelling at the Rowley Shoals Marine Park have all been voted in the top 20 of Australian Traveller magazine's 100 Things To Do in Australia Before You Die.

In total, eleven unique WA experiences are on the list -- and Western Australia has more experiences in the top 20 than any other state in the country.

Meanwhile, online travel site Trip Advisor has rated boutique tour service Margaret River Discovery Company in its world's Top Ten Exciting Alternatives to the Typical Tourist Holiday experiences. The company offers a range of formalised and customised tours that showcase the Margaret River region's national park, coastline, beaches, river and food and wine.

Also in the South West, Injidup Spa Retreat has been voted one of the ten best spas in the world in Conde Nast Traveller's 2011 Reader's Spa Awards. The property was also featured in the UK's Tatler Spa Guide in its 101 Best Spas in the World list - one of only two Australian properties. And it was recently named as one of the Top 30 New Hotels in the World by Gourmet Traveller Magazine
